Switch to Shuffl from your current tools
Move to Shuffl from the tools you use now, keep your HR system and directory, and connect them in the right order.

Help me with "Switch to Shuffl from your current tools" in my Shuffl workspace. 1. Read the guide: https://shuffl.ai/docs/markdown/switch-to-shuffl 2. Add Shuffl's MCP server: https://shuffl.ai/api/mcp Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http shuffl https://shuffl.ai/api/mcp When the browser opens, choose my workspace and allow the access the guide needs. 3. Work through the steps in order: Connect in this order. Do what you can over MCP and tell me which steps only I can do in the browser or in Slack. Show me what you will change and who it affects, and wait for my yes before publishing, inviting or sending anything.

Switch without starting over
Shuffl works beside the HR systems you keep. Your HR system stays the record of who works here, your identity provider keeps sign-in, and Slack stays where people talk. Shuffl reads them and does the work around them: answers, requests, onboarding, Pulse, praise and celebrations.
Most teams connect Slack, their HR system and their handbook in one afternoon, then turn programs on one at a time.
Which system owns what
Shuffl only reads your HR system, directory and documents. Fix a wrong title or manager where it lives, and the next sync brings it in.
Each system keeps its job
- Your HR system: who works here, titles, managers, departments, start dates, leavers and time-off balances.
- Your identity provider: sign-in, and who is provisioned or removed.
- Slack: where people talk, with names, photos and time zones.
- Your docs: the policies Mello answers from, after HR reviews them.
- Shuffl: answers, HR requests, playbooks, Pulse, praise, celebrations, Connections and communities.
Connect in this order
- Connect Slack in Settings → Integrations → Slack. Everyone in your Slack workspace appears in People with access pending.
- Connect your HR system on People → Sync, or push people from your identity provider over SCIM. Connect the HR system first so it owns start dates and managers.
- Add single sign-on under Settings → Workspace → Integrations → Single sign-on, once People lists everyone.
- Add your handbook: upload files, add a web page or connect Google Drive, Notion, Confluence or another source on Knowledge → Connections.
- If another app runs intros, shoutouts or celebrations in Slack, bring those channels over from workspace setup.
- Enable access for the people who should use Shuffl, then turn programs on one at a time.
From another Slack app
Workspace setup finds channels where another app runs coffee chats, shoutouts or celebrations. Intros become a Connections program, shoutouts a praise channel with the past year imported, and celebrations keep their channel.
Add the other app’s CSV of past intros so nobody meets the same person again. Intros start once the old app leaves the channel, and each person whose birthday was celebrated is asked privately before Shuffl keeps it.
From email, spreadsheets and survey tools
What replaces what
- A shared HR inbox: employees ask Mello in Slack or on the web. What it can’t answer becomes an HR request in HR’s Inbox.
- A handbook in a wiki or drive: connect it, review each draft and publish. Mello answers with a citation.
- An onboarding spreadsheet: start from a playbook template. Start dates from your HR system start each hire’s playbook.
- A survey tool: Pulse asks short anonymous questions in Slack or by email, with question sets to start from.
- A birthday spreadsheet: people add their own birthday, and work anniversaries come from start dates.
