Celebrations
Celebrate anniversaries and birthdays in Slack
Shuffl marks each person’s work anniversary and birthday in Slack. They decide whether it’s shared.

The days
Nobody has to remember a date
Switch on anniversaries, birthdays or both, once.
- Anniversaries
Work anniversaries
Counted from each person’s start date. A rehire counts from the new one.
- Birthdays
Birthdays
People add their own. Never imported, and no year stored.
- On the day
On their day
At the time you choose, in each person’s time zone. Weekend days move to Friday or Monday.
- Team card
A card the team signs
Teammates sign a surprise card in the week before, right in Slack.
Who hears
A note, a post, or the team
Pick one audience for each kind of day. Start from a template, edit it and preview it. Nothing is sent until you turn it on.
A private note
Mello sends the person a note. Nobody else is told.
A channel post
A post in the channel you pick. Coworkers add notes in the thread.
Their team
A direct message to each of the person’s teammates.
Consent
The person decides what’s shared
A week before someone’s first shared day, Mello asks in Slack. A post or a team message only happens with their yes.
- Each day, their choice. Anniversaries and birthdays are separate answers. Either way, they get their own note.
- Change it any time. From Shuffl’s Home tab in Slack or on the web.
Culture on autopilot
See how celebrations land
Counts only. Who was celebrated stays in History.
Shuffl measures it
Insights count celebrations, people celebrated and team card notes, against the period before.
Spot what didn’t go out
Mello flags messages that failed and people who haven’t said whether to share.
Every day lands
More teammates sign cards, and more days get shared.
