Use Shuffl with Notion

Connect Notion to let Mello answer from your documents, and see what Shuffl does with it.

What Notion does in Shuffl

If your handbook is a set of Notion pages, Mello can answer from them with a citation. Share each page with the Shuffl connection, and HR reviews every change.

You need to be a Shuffl workspace administrator, with an administrator in Notion for the steps there.

Answer from Notion

  1. On Knowledge → Connections, choose Connect next to Notion.
  2. Authorize Shuffl in your Notion workspace.
  3. In Notion, share each policy page with the Shuffl connection.
  4. Paste the page link into Shuffl; it is read as a draft for review.
  5. Check the draft’s text, audience and review date, then publish it.

Shuffl reads: Pages. You pick each one, and Shuffl never writes to Notion.

In Shuffl

  • Mello answers from what you publish, with a citation, to the audience you set.
  • A new version in Notion becomes a draft for HR to review. The old text stops being used once the change is found.
  • Disconnecting withdraws every document it brought in. The originals stay where they are.

Good to know

Linked private pages, databases and meeting transcripts aren’t imported. Share each page you want on its own.

If it stops working

When a source reads Access lost or Sync needs attention, check that the connected account can still open it in Notion, then choose Check now.

Disconnect and withdraw deletes the stored key and withdraws what it brought in. Drafts, versions and the originals stay.
