# Use Shuffl with SharePoint and OneDrive

## What SharePoint and OneDrive does in Shuffl

Keep HR files in SharePoint or OneDrive and Mello answers from the ones you pick. Shuffl gets read access only, and a changed file waits for HR’s review.

You need to be a Shuffl workspace administrator, with an administrator in SharePoint and OneDrive for the steps there.

## Answer from SharePoint and OneDrive

1. On Knowledge → Connections, choose Connect next to SharePoint and OneDrive.

2. Sign in with the work account that can open the HR files.

3. Grant Shuffl read access to files and sites. It writes nothing.

4. Pick a file from OneDrive, a site library or a search; it is read as a draft for review.

5. Check the draft’s text, audience and review date, then publish it.

Shuffl reads: PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Markdown, HTML, text. You pick each one, and Shuffl never writes to SharePoint and OneDrive.

### In Shuffl

- Mello answers from what you publish, with a citation, to the audience you set.
- A new version in SharePoint and OneDrive becomes a draft for HR to review. The old text stops being used once the change is found.
- Disconnecting withdraws every document it brought in. The originals stay where they are.

## Good to know

Shuffl reads PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Markdown, HTML and text files. Spreadsheets, images and older Office files are refused.

## If it stops working

When a source reads Access lost or Sync needs attention, check that the connected account can still open it in SharePoint and OneDrive, then choose Check now.

Disconnect and withdraw deletes the stored key and withdraws what it brought in. Drafts, versions and the originals stay.
